"So So What? Who cares what I do with my life?" That's my average response to anyone who asks why I do things that I do. Personally, I don't really care what others say about the things I do. I get a lot because I read the Twilight series and loved it. That isn't really accepted by most guys my age, so I just say, "So So What?" Honestly, I don't anyone else's opinion matters when you're doing something that you like, or something that's good.
But then, I have an exception to that rule. The other day I was reading a friends blog about violence. She had a comment on there from one of my other friends; she said that violence (especially in video games) is pointless, stupid, and ruins lives. I totally agree with that. There's so many more things that you can be doing instead of blowing up halo or whatever. If I was playing games instead of going to the gym, my life would be pretty suckish right now. Altough every once in a while with friends or family, it can be fun if it's like a racing game or Wii sports.
Anyways, my big question is, what motivates people to do what they do, and why? Not for critical analysis, but to try to see how the world ticks.
If you look at my profile, it says I love writing, so much that I'm writing a book. Why? Because I've been writing since I was little and I've loved it. And now that I'm older and have honed the skill a bit more, I can use it to express myself and some of the feelings I feel, or, to make someone else feel something. Also, I love to workout. Why? Because I don't to be some weak person who feels insecure about myself at school. I want to bit, healthy, and feel good about myself. I also love to run. Working out helps me slowly reach my goal of 6 minutes a mile (right now it's 8). I like the Twilight series. Why? Because it's not all gushy as guys have stereo typed it to be and it's an awesome story.
So, what's your story?

Alex people who care for you, care about what you do with your life. Sometimes people have a hard time expressing themselves to show that they really do care.
When I make fun of you for reading the Twillight series, it's just because I give people a hard time about that stuff. I have acually thought about reading it, but my mom doesn't approve.
I Agree with you guys that violence is very pointless, it does ruin lives; when I used too play all sorts of violent vidoe games I was noticed I was alot meaner to my family and friends, I get angry for no aparent reason. Ever sence I've stoped playing very violent games I've noticed a difference in my thinking and actions. There are so many different and better things people could do with there time instead of killing things on a TV screen.
What Motivates people and there actions? Its a good Question, For most people it's for pleasure and/or for them and what they want; there are some few rare people that do it for others, they want other people to be happy. For me its the hardest thing to work on.
Okay dude, violence is the essence of life. The BEST kind of violence is on video games dude. I dont see how killing other people on tv screens can affect someone to become a killer or something along those lines. But, i agree with your first paragraph.
Ha ha is the tital of this post baised on the song "so what" by
P!nk?
Why is it that everyone keeps referring to violence being on a T.V. screen. There is violence in the real world too. Or is that not the point?
Maybe...
Because TV was the originator of violence. If there was no TV, there'd be no violence.
Let's use a well known example here:
What came first? The Revolutionary War or T.V.?
The TV!
wow alex. now you're a plagerizer too. how do you feel about that?
I'm confused. Where did he plagiarize? Not saying he didn't, but I'm confused. Please, expliken me.
It's not plagerism Celie. I'm just using that for a title. Titles for songs are rarely copyrighted. Also, there's a few other blogs that do the same thing. I though it was clever and tried it myself.
ha ha i was totaly just jking . . .
Good. And why say jking when you could add one letter and say, joking?
Some people find it cool to use the popular acronyms such as "jk". When people use them it almost becomes a way of life for them. Therefore, she did that because she is used to saying "jk". At least, that is my theory.
Our generation is screwed up.
Indeed we are.
"Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
Na Na Na Na Na Na
So so what?
I'm still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And i don't need you
And guess what
I'm having more fun... "
ya that's just said "just J K ing" ha ha it's my special word even though if it was written out it would be just just kiddinging . . . i don't really care cuz it sounds cool . . .
...And now that we're done,
I'm going to show you tonight
Yeah tonight
I'm alright
And I don't need you...
Have you seen the music video for that song? It's kind of funny.
